The HP 211 PDA has a 4” diagonal sharp 640x480 resolution display (VGA). The HP 211 has a 624 MHz processor, CF and SD expansion card ports and runs Windows Mobile® 6 Classic Edition. The integrated WiFi 802.11b/g chipset is compatible with WEP through WPA2-Enterprise (EAP-TLS and PEAP) and WiFi Multimedia.

8.9” Asus EEE 900HA
is a netbook with a 8.9” 1024x600 (WSVGA) resolution display. The EEE 900HA has an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1.0 Gb SRAM, 160 Gb hard drive, USB ports and 4 cell 5200mAH battery. The 900HA has integrated 802.11b/g WiFi wireless that is compatible with 802.1x and runs the Windows XP Home operating system. The 900HA weighs about two pounds and has a 15 watts power draw.

Comments - The ASUS EEE 904HA has the keyboard of the EEE 1000 series, but the display size and hard drive of the 900 series. The EEE 904HA, will boot off either the SD slot or USB thumb drives and internal drive. The Asus EEE 900 series looks uses12 VDC while the Asus EEE 700 wants 9.7 VDC.

8.9”Acer Aspire One
is a netbook with a 8.9” 1024x600 (WSVGA) resolution display. The Aspire One has an Intel Atom N270 processor, 512Mb SRAM, 120 Gb hard drive, USB ports and 6 cell battery (about 5 hours). The Aspire One has integrated 802.11b/g WiFi wireless and runs the Windows XP Home operating system. About 2.2 pounds and about 15 watts power draw.

Comments - The Acer Aspire series appears to only boot off the USB ports or internal drive. The Aspire will boot off an SD chip in a USB adapter but will not boot of the same SD chip in the SD slot. Aspire power supply uses 18-19 VDC.

is a netbook with a 8.9” 1024x600 (WSVGA) resolution resistive touch display. The CTL Convertible has an Intel Atom 1.6 Ghz processor, 1.0 Gb SRAM, 60 Gb hard drive, USB ports and 6 cell battery. Comments – Most netbooks should be able to charge with 12-14 VDC so they can work from a car/airplane jack, with minimal extra power brick.
